What to expect when visiting us

If you are new to our community, or visiting the Church for the first time, or returning to church after a while, you probably have a lot of questions before you visit Garland Spanish Adventist Church.

We would like to try to answer as many of your questions as possible before you arrive.  Here is our best guess of some of the questions you may have.  If we missed something, please send us an email with your questions and we will try to answer for you.

When are your services?
Our worship services are on Saturdays. Here is our typical Saturday schedule.

9:15AM Fellowship
We offer a song service that will inspire you.

9:30AM Bible Study and Children's Classes
We offer Bible study classes for collegiate aged adults and up.  There are several classes to choose from and our Guest Services Volunteers will be happy to recommend one to you. We also have special classes for children and youth of all ages.

11:00AM Praise and Worship
This is our main worship service. It is longer in length and includes more contemporary elements including the music. This is the service where we celebrate baptisms, special programs, child dedications and other family life activities.

12:30PM Fellowship Lunch
Following our Praise and Worship service you are invited to join us for a special lunch. Immediately following the service, people can make their way to the gym where we can serve you within just a few minutes. Our hope is that if you are visiting, you will plan to stay and enjoy the food and fellowship.

Is there anything for my children?
Yes, a lot. We offer Children Bible study time and during our main worship service, we offer...
Childcare for the children under age 5
Children's Church is available for ages 5 to 10.  This is a service designed specifically for them and is held every other week.
Quiet buckets which contain some activities for children who wish to remain in the auditorium.
A parent room for infants with closed circuit television and a private nursing area.

Is there anything for my teens and young adults?
Yes, a lot. There are a large number of young people who attend our services on Saturday. Bible study time is done in English and Spanish and we try to remember the needs of our young people.

During our main worship service in Spanish, we offer Youth English Church that is available for teens and young adults. This is a service designed specifically for them.

Do you serve lunch?
Every other week we offer a lunch immediately following our service.
The lunch is offer by one of our study classes and the food is delicious, call us to find if we are serving food during your visit

Is there plenty of parking?
Yes. Our parking lot is adjacent to our building and has ample room for your vehicle.

I have never attended a church that worships on Saturday. What is it like?
Much of what you might have experienced in a church that worships on Sunday, you will experience during your visit with us. Many things might be similar, but since the Bible says that the Sabbath is special, we believe you will notice the difference.

Have a question we didn't think of? Ask us and we will be happy to answer it.
